We attempted to drink our first batch of homemade rootbeer... our plan was to make root beer floats! So, the kids and I opened the bottles and took our first drink. Unfortunately, they weren't as great as we had hoped!

The flavor was fine, although it did have a bit of an aftertaste... however, there was no carbonation! It was flat. Bummer! It worked fine for our floats, but we didn't drink the rest.We'll try again next weekend!
Bummer, at least it was a fun family project. We love seeing pictures, thanks for posting a few:)
