We had decided to have a competition with gingerbread houses.... girls versus boys, who could make the better house.

As we started decorating......something awful happened. Neither of our houses would stay upright! The walls kept caving in on the "girls" house, and the roof kept slipping off the "boys" house.
We admitted defeat, and decided to just eat the gingerbread instead!

Fun! We talked about making gingerbread houses too, but didn't get around to it; maybe we'll make that our New Year's Eve activity. I like girls vs boys competitions, it adds a different kind of fun element. The kids are looking really big, I like Donovan's longer hair, cute kid:)
